A required vetting workshop for future sensual events at The Forest Haven
Are you ready to explore embodied consent and prepare for deeper, more connected experiences in sensual and kinky spaces?
Embodied Consent: Boundaries and Desires is a hands-on, participatory workshop for individuals interested in attending future sensual gatherings at The Forest Haven. This experience invites you to slow down, listen to the body, and practice consent as a lived, relational experience rather than a concept.
Rooted in somatic awareness, voice, and conscious connection, the workshop draws from consent practices developed and refined in immersive retreat settings, supporting clarity, agency, and honest communication.
What we will explore in this 3-hour workshop:
Boundaries and desires
Explore your wants, limits, and motivations for connection. Practice giving and receiving a clear “no,” a curious “maybe,” or a request for something different, while staying present with your body.
Real-time consent practice
Engage in interactive demonstrations and scenarios such as “Can I lick your face?” and practice responding from a grounded, embodied place, for example, “No, but I would enjoy it if you kissed my hand,” or “I don’t want be touched, can we sit near each other.”
Communication and connection
Learn how to initiate and navigate conversations around boundaries, aftercare, and relational context beyond a single interaction.
Identity, agency, and community
Reflect on how your self perception and the communities you move within shape your boundaries, desires, and sense of responsibility in connection.
Through experiential exercises, demonstrations, and open dialogue, this workshop emphasizes:
Clear boundaries and safer practices
Intentional communication around desires and motivations
Agency, aftercare, and relational responsibility
This workshop is open to all experience levels and is facilitated with clear agreements, care, and respect for difference. Discomfort, curiosity, and nervousness are understood as part of the learning process.
