About This Space

Relax into luxury nestled in the middle of 53 acres. In the woods, yet 10 minutes to Woodstock, 10 to Saugerties, 15 to Kingston, and 10-30 min away from some of the most beautiful hikes and slopes of the Catskills.

Let the spaciousness of the Round House wrap you with all of it's top of the line amenities and comforts; two person bath tub, cotton sheets, heated floor (in the winter), rain showers, many lighting options to set the perfect mood, and so much more.

The space

Walk into the round house, and allow it in. Everywhere you look, fine details have been incorporated into the expansive nature of the home. The green and gold accents will hold your hand as you walk through your temporary home among the trees. Every window you look through, trees will fill your view. The loft holds the TV and green velvet couch to lounge. The woodstove space is surrounded by vegan leather couches and books.

The main bedroom has its own private bathroom (the Italian mermaid grotto) equipped with a two person, jetted, heated, soaking tub, as well as a double sink marble vanity. The guest bathroom is known as the cave with its dark tile and gold accents. The back deck wraps from main to guest bedroom around the back of the home, over a 20ft cliff. Bluetooth controlled color lights are embedded behind the ceiling trim that, in the evening, will light up the ceiling any color you choose.

Guest access

You have access to the whole round house besides the crawl space/ utility room and the 53 private acres and trails surrounding the home. The aerial silks (circus arts apparatus) are locked up and off limits due to safety. If you would like a performer during your stay, please let me know and one can be hired.

Other things to note

If you would like to hire one of our personal chefs or massage therapists during your stay, please send me a message with at least 5 days notice. There are two queen beds (one in each bedroom) and the third bed for the 5th/6th person is a blow up mattress in the loft. The Round House is it's own private structure and the 53 acres are shared with either me or another airbnb guest who will be staying in the barn, about 150ft apart.

  • This was my first Airbnb experience and it couldn’t have gone better. Zach blew me away with how attentive, friendly and responsive he was. The house is GORGEOUS and everything is so organized and neat, which made it really easy for me to prepare nice dinners for my wife. Zach was flexible with the timing for check out and answered all of my questions in just minutes. He provided suggestions for hikes in the area based on our fitness level and really went out of his way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We left something at the house and he has been so kind and generous about mailing it back to us. I could go on and on about the house and about Zack. We will definitely be back.

  • Zach’s home is the perfect setting for a nature escape in beautiful upstate, New York. The space is so welcoming. The views are outstanding - you’re really in a nature escape with trees and woods surrounding you. His home is cozy, comforting and is well stocked with kitchen essentials, clean linens, bathroom amenities and comfortable seating arrangements. If you want an escape from the city and want to be in a unique and comfortable home in nature - this is your spot! You’ll want a car to get in/out to the central spots which are only a 10min drive away.

  • Zach was one of the most gracious hosts I’ve met. Super responsive and personable with and incredibly beautiful story on how he built the round house with the community. It rained the first two days we were there, but it was even more magnificent to lay of the sofa next to fire in the middle of the forest. A true forest haven! We had an very relaxing weekend. One thing to note is that there is a barn next store where Zach stays but we hardly noticed among the beautiful surroundings and Zach is super considerate of the guests. We hopes to stay there again.
